At MuMu organic, we use sustainable and fair trade fabrics to create our stylish and timeless handmade womenswear.

MuMu organic mainly uses certified organic cotton and through responsible sourcing supports Fair Trade producers in developing countries, as well as providing local employment in Greece.

The organic cotton fabrics MuMu organic works with are imported by two UK companies who work directly with communities in India. These fabrics are certified by GOTS and by the Fair Trade Foundation.

Other natural linen fabrics and the 100% certified organic cotton blend fabrics are imported from a Dutch company which cooperates with a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified factory in Turkey.

Fair trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach that aims to help producers in developing countries to make better trading conditions and promote sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a higher price to exporters as well as higher social and environmental standards. It focuses in particular on exports from developing countries to developed countries.
